Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using MeetMemo, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

2. License grant

MiraiTech grants you a:

  • Personal, non-transferable license: to use MeetMemo on your personal Mac
  • Team license (if purchased): for the number of seats purchased, assigned to specific team members

3. Free trial

MeetMemo offers a free trial of 3 meetings. No credit card required. After the trial, a valid license is required to continue using the app.

4. Prohibited uses

You may NOT:

  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense MeetMemo
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
  • MeetMemo to record without consent from all participants
  • MeetMemo for any illegal purpose

5. Recording consent — Your responsibility

⚠️ IMPORTANT:

You are solely responsible for obtaining consent from all meeting participants before recording. MeetMemo provides tools to help you manage consent (such as a consent notification feature), but legal responsibility for compliance with applicable laws (including GDPR, local wiretapping laws, and workplace recording regulations) rests entirely with you.

Before recording, always:

  • Inform all participants that recording will take place
  • Obtain explicit consent from each participant
  • Comply with your local laws regarding recording consent

6. Subscription & billing

  • Recurring billing: Subscriptions renew automatically monthly or yearly
  • Cancellation: You can cancel anytime through your account dashboard
  • Refunds: No refunds for partial months, except as required by Belgian consumer law
  • Price changes: We will give 30 days notice before any price changes

7. Intellectual property

  • MeetMemo software: Owned by MiraiTech. All rights reserved.
  • Your content: You own your recordings, transcripts, and notes. We never claim ownership.

9. Limitation of liability

MeetMemo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. MiraiTech shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to:

  • Data loss or corruption
  • Recording failures
  • Accuracy of transcriptions

10. Governing law & jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of Ghent, Belgium.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of MeetMemo after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
